THAT'S GOOD ...
I can be confused with Tiger Woods on the golf course when ... I wear a RED shirt.
The shot I dread most on the golf course is ... the standard approach shot of 100 yards.
My strangest moment on the golf course was ... a "name your game" Wolf game with Mike Werner, Jim Dee, and Jim Allen at the Kings Course at Waikaloa Resort on the big island of Hawaii. It was a windy day and playing for score wasn't going to produce good results. It was so windy that we may have been the only people on the course. The cart girl knew where her big tips were coming from and graciously delivered cocktails from the clubhouse bar the entire morning. We had a good game of Wolf going, but added the "name your game" twist at the turn. Little things like playing the entire hole with a five-iron and a putter.
I was first up on the 18th hole and stated that we were going to play the entire hole with just the driver (putting included). Then, after a dramatic pause while standing over my ball, I dropped my shorts to my ankles, meaning play the entire hole with a driver and your shorts at your shoe tops. Despite the breeze blowing between our legs, Mike, Jim Allen and I hit good drives. Then came Jim Dee. He was so nervous that he shanked his drive 50 yards to the right, next to first tee box where four oriental ladies were getting ready to tee off. We never laughed so hard on a golf course as Jim walked dejectedly to his ball to hit his next shot -- which was going to be hit once again -- with shorts down. After an extended delay waiting over his ball, Jim finally dropped his shorts and swung away. The ladies got a cheap thrill and Jim got the "Happy Ending" getting back in play. We eventually finished the hole in front of the clubhouse, putting with our driver and our shorts down. Nobody noticed except for us.
The strangest thing that has happened to me on a Golfest trip was ... being tackled by a fellow golfer over a bet at Bandon Dunes.
My (best) shining moment on the golf course is ... any moment spent on a golf course.
If I could add or change anything about a round of golf, I would ... improve my chip shot.
My fantasy foursome would include ... Tiger Woods, Joe Montana, Pamela Anderson and me. (Guess who Jeffrey is riding with in the cart?)
