Have you ever pulled up to the tee box of a par-3 and had a bigger urge to reach for your camera than a golf club? You know the golf holes ... the one's with a certain "awe" factor.
It could be the scenery or the way the hole is cut into the local surroundings. Or, maybe it's the perception of how challenging it can be? I thought it would be interesting to create the ultimate fantasy GolfestOnline.com executive course -- the best 18 par-3's in the United States - complete with photographs and overviews. Listed below is the front nine of the work in progress:
